Rotary kiln, which can also be called circumgyrate kiln,revolving kiln or mineral rotary kiln, is a drum with a certain inclination of 3~3.5%. Relying on the rotation of the cylinder, the materials inside the revolving kiln will mix, contact and have reactions.
The kiln head will inject coal which will burn to produce a lot of heat which will be transmitted to the materials in the methods of the radiation of the flame, the convection of the hot air and the kiln burnt brick conduction. The materials will move forward relying on the inclination of the cylinder and the rotation of the kiln.

Rotary kiln has such features of high output, low energy consumption and high burning effect.
Principle Of Revolving Kiln
Revolving kiln is the main equipment for cement production. The raw materials go from the kiln tail into the cylinder for calcinations. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the cylinder, the materials will roll along the peripheral direction and also have compound movement along the axial direction from the high end to low end. Inside the kiln, the raw materials will have such technical processes as decomposition, calcinations and cooling, and become cement clinker and then will be discharged from the low end of the kiln cylinder and go into the cooling machine.
