Introduction Of Cooling Machine

Cooling machine is one of the important machines in the rotary kiln system. The function of this equipment is to cool the materials that are discharged from the rotary kiln to below 200℃ through the rotation of the cylinder inside which the materials will have sufficient heat exchange with the air.

Rotary drum cooler can improve the quality and grindability of the clinker and at the same time, it will fully absorb the air that cools the materials into the kiln as second circulating air, thus improving the heat efficiency of the kiln.

This equipment can fully suck the air that is used for cooling the materials as secondary circulation air, thus improving the thermal efficiency of the kiln, and in addition, it has the features of simple structure, high running rate and convenient operation and maintenance, so that is very suitable for small-sized cement plant.

Principle Of Cooling Machine

In the process that the wet materials move forward inside the cylinder, the materials will directly or indirectly get the heat from the heat-carrying agent and get cooled, and then the cooled materials will be sent out by belt conveyor or spiral conveyor at the discharging end. On the internal wall of the cylinder, there are lifting boards whose functions is to lift the materials and scatter them, to increase the contact surface of the materials with the airflow and increase the cooling speed and promote the materials to move forward. After the heat-carrying agent goes through the cooling machine, a cyclone dust collector is generally used to gather the materials inside the air.
