Lime kiln also can be called lime pit,lime rotary kiln or limestone rotary kiln,is suitable to use the blast furnace gas and coke oven gas in the steel industry and use the calcium carbide furnace tail gas or use the technology of multiful combustion with coal powers in chemistry and calcium carbide industry to reach the goal of improving the lime quality and saving energy and calcine high-quality active lime.
Lime rotary kiln has advanced structure. The vertical pre-heat with low-pressure loss can effectively improve the pre-heating effect, and the in-kiln decomposition rate of the pre-heated limestone can reach 20-25% and the 10-15mm fine particle limestone materials can be directly used.
Place the limestone and the fuel into the lime kiln and preheat them to 850℃, and then the limestone will decompose, and after the temperature reaches 1200℃, calcinatin will be completed. After being cooled, the materials will be discharged out of the cylinder to complete the production of lime products.
